Laundry? check...

We've all got to-do lists - whether they're in our heads, on paper, or in our phones - but how often do those lists get cleared? The tasks are as easy to forget as the list itself. How might the to-do list become more persistent in users' minds without taking over their attention or worse, distracting them with other apps and notifications?

Tangible to-do list

EaseDo is my solution to the shortcomings of traditional to-do lists. It helps users stay on task by requiring a physical action on the users' part; and it quietly exists in the periphery of user attention with its low stimulus e-ink display.

One after another

Users can bring tokens with them while they work on tasks, and the subtly colored LEDs will change to show the progress of each task. The result is an ambient display that only comes into focus when called upon by the users themselves.
